Attention Diners & Foodies

Over the years, we have repeatedly been asked one question: where are the best places to dine or shop to find local food? This question is now more important than ever.

We have an answer.

'Certified 100km' is an accreditation program that validates 100km Foods' customers as local food champions, who use their purchasing power to prioritize sourcing local ingredients from our network of farmers and producers.

Check out the 2026 participating restaurants, hotels, retailers, caterers, and community organizations below.

PARTICIPATING RESTAURANT PARTNERS

scaramouche5

SCARAMOUCHE

TORONTO, ON

1 Benvenuto Place

From the Michelin Guide:

Set in the affluent northern suburb of South Hill, Scaramouche has been a Toronto mainstay for decades, with Chef Keith Froggett at the helm since 1983. Don’t be alarmed when you arrive and head downstairs to the restaurant thinking you are off to a basement—you're not, as the superb city skyline view soon proves.

Guests come for the views and stay for the traditional French cuisine. Don't expect modern twists, as dishes such as foie gras terrine with a sour cherry reduction and rabbit loin wrapped with bacon sided by a fricassee of sweet peas and fava beans, are as classic as they come. Savor the dark chocolate mousse with cherries for dessert, or take home one of their signature coconut cream pies.

Working with regional purveyors, their food and wine offerings are a reflection of the local ecosystem & the land we inhabit.

From the Michelin Guide:

This 42-acre destination in the picturesque Niagara region is the full experience. A restaurant, winery, orchard, farm and bakery, Restaurant Pearl Morissette is a powerhouse.

With great pride for Canadian ingredients and respect for the seasons, Chefs Daniel Hadida and Eric Robertson make the most of their surroundings to enhance their spontaneous tasting menu's dishes, as in roasted guinea hen with chanterelles, mokum carrot and fig. Yes, there is plenty of wine available, but don’t miss the accomplished juice pairing either. The meal may conclude sweetly with a deliciously creamy hogweed ice cream sandwich followed by terrific, freshly baked madeleines. Meanwhile, the warm team keeps the tasting moving at a friendly clip.

Trius

TRIUS RESTAURANT

NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, ON

1249 Niagara Stone Road

Chef Frank Dodd works with local farmers, growers and producers to create inspired wine country cuisine that makes their Trius wines sing.

From the Michelin Guide:

You could spend the afternoon at this expansive winery in Niagara wandering the vineyards and hanging by the outdoor sparkling bar. Or, you could make a beeline for a table with Chef Frank Dodd.

Since 2006, he has spearheaded the property’s culinary arm, sourcing from nearby farms and paying close attention to the seasons. The menu offers a two and three course prix-fixe and has wide appeal: Gin-cured smoked salmon with warm potato pancakes is an elegant start before digging into heartier entrees like maple-brined grilled pork chops, corn and chorizo stuffed quail, and scallops with sweet pea and mascarpone ravioli. Lunch is the best time to drop by so you can sit on the patio, look out across the vines, and take in the setting.

678 Queen Street E

White Lily Diner was established in 2016 in the Riverside community as a humble, neighbourhood comfort food joint serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their program is simple: buy the best of what the region has to offer. Through small details like baking their own bread, smoking their own meats and showcasing their preserves both on their menu and on the shelves, their intention is to offer approachable fare with integrity and seasonality.

TheAce

THE ACE

TORONTO, ON

231A Roncesvalles Avenue

The Ace is a true neighbourhood staple boasting innovative yet approachable farm-to-table cuisine with a menu that changes weekly.

From the Michelin Guide:

Set your alarm. This is cooking worth waking up for. Indeed, brunch usually isn’t a kitchen’s brightest moment, but that is far from true at The Ace, a slim vintage diner that first opened in the 1950s.

Husband-and-wife team Rafael Badell and Maggie Stackpole are the latest to hold the keys to this historic haunt, and it’s during the day when the cooking really sings. What’s that smell? It’s probably expert wedges of house-made sourdough sizzling away on the griddle. Start with the duck confit and wild mushroom toast crowned with softly poached eggs. Whatever you do, save room for, what is likely, the city’s best French toast. A triumphant square of brioche arrives topped with caramelized pears, vanilla bean whipped ricotta and toasted pistachios.

This College West gem is the place to enjoy contemporary Spanish inspired dishes using fresh, local ingredients and the finest European imports.

From the Michelin Guide:

Right on bustling College Street, Bar Isabel charms diners with its old-world tavern vibe and broad appeal. Perfect for groups, it's also just right for solo diners, as some some dishes may be prepared in half portions, inviting exploration.
Chef Grant van Gameren's cooking is heartfelt and there is never anything frilly or overwrought on his Spanish tapas menu. Dishes are rustic and straightforward and there is a clear focus on quality flavors married with strong product. Case in point? The pork secreto, which takes a flavorful grilled pork cheek and ratchets it up a notch with a honey and apple cider reduction. The craft beer list is interesting, and there are plenty of ciders, Spanish wine and cocktails, particularly those employing Sherry, on offer.

Viaggio

VIAGGIO RESTAURANT

TORONTO, ON

1727 Dundas Street W

From the Michelin Guide:

You might consider dropping by even if it means you can only order dessert. A novel effort that feels part soufflé, part pancake, the signature tiramisu finished with espresso maple syrup and whipped mascarpone may very well be one of the best desserts in the city. Many dishes, in fact, feel unique to this neighborhood charmer, which could have very easily played it safe with standard Italian dishes. However, this is a kitchen that chooses to top pizzas with smoked pastrami and sauerkraut and chooses to toss tagliolini with charred octopus glossed in smoked dashi butter. Refreshingly creative, such moves pay off in delicious ways.

The historic building boasts a handsome dining room as well as an inviting deck lit with strung garden lights.

The Pine-1

THE PINE

CREEMORE, ON

7535 County Road 9

From the Michelin Guide:

Located in charming Creemore, north of Toronto in Simcoe County, find this culinary landmark housed in a chic space that was formerly a gas station.

Run by Chef Jeremy Austin and his wife, Cassie, The Pine is a distinct dining experience that is informed by the chef's years working in China. A meal here draws on authentic flavors delivered with striking creativity and conviction on an ever-evolving menu. A gorgeous tea egg kicks things off; the Sichuan-favorite dried fried string beans arrive as a cold salad; and the carrot jiaozi is a delightful dumpling; but those are merely a few of the treasures on offer.

From the Michelin Guide:

Located a mere hour away from Toronto, this historic 19th-century Cambridge estate has long been something of a special retreat in Ontario. The mansion sits on 75 acres with a spa, walking trails, culinary gardens and, of course, its signature restaurant. A stately interior with white tablecloths and a well-heeled staff fit the aesthetic. Chef Jason Bangerter has led this kitchen since 2013 and cooks with a kind of familiar French classicism.
