To help you to get all your local favourites, we’ve put together this ordering guide so you can order online and never miss out on the stuff you love from the farmers you trust.

OPTIMAL DAYS TO ORDER TO HAVE ACCESS TO OUR FULL CATALOGUE
We are back to 4x farm runs per week (every day from Monday to Thursday), with a few exceptions.
There will still be a few products not available for ordering on Tuesdays, so in order to view everything available for the week listed as in stock, the best days to place your order online are:
- Sunday for Tuesday deliveries
- Monday for Wednesday & Thursday deliveries
- Wednesday for Friday deliveries

Order Deadlines, Minimums & Substitutions
Order Deadlines
Orders must be submitted by 5am the day prior to your desired delivery date. Orders must be submitted by:
- Monday morning by 5am for Tuesday delivery
- Tuesday morning by 5am for Wednesday delivery
- Wednesday morning by 5am for Thursday delivery
- Thursday morning by 5am for Friday delivery
Order Minimums
Please note that if you do not meet your order minimum (communicated to you in your "Introduction to 100km Foods" email once you've opened an ordering account), you will be subjected to a subminimum delivery fee that depends on your location. Don't worry, you will be notified if you are below this order minimum when checking out your order so you have the opportunity to add more to your cart to surpass the order minimum or to accept the delivery fee. Please note, if you have items that are priced per kg and your total is greater than the order minimum after these items are catch weighted, we adjust your order and the subminimum delivery fee will not be applied.
Substitutions
If we are short a product on your order and have a potential substitution available to send, we will always reach out for confirmation that you are satisfied with the substitution before finalizing.
FREIGHT POLICY
It is always our goal to ensure that our very short, very reliable local food chain is strong, both in terms of our connection and relationships, and financially so that all partners in the chain are fiscally healthy and viable. It is through this lens that we established the following freight policy:
- Our freight surcharge is $10 per delivery (+ tax).
- This freight surcharge is waived for orders $250 above your delivery area's order minimum (for example, if your order minimum is $300, you would qualify for free delivery on orders that are equal to or greater than $550).
- Orders below your delivery area's order minimum will be subject to a subminimum freight surcharge.
OTHER HELPFUL TIPS TO KEEP IN MIND WHEN ORDERING
SPECIAL ORDER DEADLINE FOR KOLAPORE SPRINGS
Due to Kolapore's delivery schedule of fresh product to our warehouse, if you are looking to feature Kolapore Springs Ocean Wise Recommended fish on your menu, orders must be submitted by Monday for Thursday or Friday delivery.
PAY ATTENTION TO UNITS OF MEASURE WHEN ORDERING
Please pay attention to units of measure for items like meat when ordering. For example, the product listed as "Duck Breast Fresh case of 8 pieces (price per kg)", this means that the case has 8 pieces of duck breast and the price listed on our website is per kg. When ordering this product, you will order by the case, not by kg, and when we invoice you, the price will be adjusted according to the weight of the case of 8.
SOME PRODUCTS REQUIRE LEAD TIME FOR ORDERING
Please note that some of our suppliers require advance notice of orders ( for example: Ying Ying Tofu, Kozlik's Mustards, Best Baa Feta). As a result, there are some SKUs that may display as "Temporarily Out of Stock" on Sundays and Wednesdays. If you're trying to order these products and they are displaying as "Temporarily Out of Stock", you can contact info@100kmfoods.com for more information on how you can order these items.
WEEKLY WEBSITE UPDATES - WHAT TO EXPECT
Our website closes for ordering weekly on Thursdays at 5am at which time, our team chats with our farmers and producers to update our product offering with availability for the next week's deliveries.
Once ordering is reopened, you will receive a weekly email summarizing new product updates and additions .(Please note: if you unsubscribe from our mailing list, you will no longer receive these emails or order reminders).
If you log on on Thursdays and the site is not yet open for ordering, you can still view items and prices when you log in, but you cannot place an order (you’ll see details about this in a banner on the homepage).
